Beautiful designs that don't last

Have you ever wondered how long will the beads last on the nails? I have. So I started to put the beads on my nails, they looked so gorgeous but oh boy they didn't last a day not even one hour without even doing anything. I only stayed home and watched TV and next thing I knew was some of the beads had gone already.
The second experiment was the paints. I saw an inspiration on YouTube, they painted the flowers on the skin and it looked so pretty so I thought I'd try and I did. If you don't touch water then it probably last a day but I worked that day and I washed my hands a lot so it only lasted me a few hours.

After a few failures, I decided to give the Avatar one more try...
My friends told me that "don't give up yet, we think you can do it." Alright, whatever, I'll try.
I did the designs on artificial nails because I didn't have much time to work on the designs plus I'm not patient enough to do it all at once (these designs really took me a long time to finish).

Matte nail polish by Essie

I read a lot of reviews of the Essie matte nail polish (matte about you), so I decided to give it a try. But I couldn't find it in any store near where I live :( so I decided to order the Essie Matte about you online...
I have to say that I really like it. I like that I don't have to buy a whole lot of matte color polishes to achieve the matte look. Just this matte top coat over any color of polish that you already own and there you go the new matte polish.. Go get it before it's gone ;)

Snowing day

It's been snowing here on Sunday, so I decided to do my nails since I have a lot of time...
The fist one just beads on black in different colors and the second one i did the one-stroke technique on black

My lovely husband asked if I can do the Pokemon nail design for him... After a few weeks, I decided that I would paint it for him and here the designs of Pokemon
I outlined the designs with black acrylic paints first then I went back and applied the other colors in afterwards..

The first time ever to try this technique, I have to say that it looks simple but it's hard to get it done right...I'm kinda pleased of the outcome though.

Tranfromers

Since I did a lot of girly nail designs I asked my guy friend if he wants to see anything on my nails. He said "I'm not a girl why would you ask me?" I said to him that it doesn't have to be girly stuff just anything. he replied "how about transformers, can you do it?"
So I went home and tried to do it at night before bedtime like usual... do you think I nailed it?

I got asked to do a lot of nail designs lately... I don't mind doing them but TIME is the problem... I work full time so I only have time to do nails at night before bedtime.
it's hard, but I really enjoy doing it.. it challenges me in a way.

getting high

My hubby said that I like to get high with nail polishes... he said to me "honey, how can you stand that smell? it can make you high you know."
Now every time that I go to my office (my nail station in the guest bathroom) to do my nails, he would say "you're getting high?"
yeah.., I like to get high alright.. I hope people don't think that I'm using drugs when I say I'm gonna go get high. lol
